Do you need help filing a petition to help your foreign-born spouse to get a green card? Are you trying to get a work permit? As a child of immigrants, I have a passion to help others achieve the American dream.
My work in the complex arena of immigration law began back when I was a law student, as an independent contractor and certified student practitioner, and continues today. I have helped to craft petitions and appeals in a wide variety of areas, ranging from “EB1” visas for immigrants of extraordinary ability, to H1-B visas for workers in specialized fields to “E2” investor visas for immigrants who want to start businesses in the United States to “Life Act” green cards for certain eligible immigrants who had a properly filed application for a visa on or before April 30, 2001.
My work also has encompassed family-based visa petitions, including successfully writing applications for waivers of inadmissibility for those who entered illegally or overstayed their welcome before marrying a U.S. citizen spouse. I have also successfully produced I-751 waiver applications to lift conditions on temporary green cards obtained by those who marry, and later divorce, U.S. citizen spouses and have helped poor, battered immigrants to obtain visas under the Violence Against Women Act.
In addition to petitions, my work encompasses complex immigration appeals, including a 2011 case that had been adjudicated for 10 years and resulted in a deportation order before the federal Board of Immigration Appeals remanded it for further consideration. Because I have written appeals or rebuttals to denials of immigration benefits, I know what a petition needs to include to be successful. I earned the highest semester grade in my law school class in immigration law for a reason.
I care about the promise of the American dream and believe it should be available to all deserving newcomers. Whether you are an individual or a business seeking to hire a deserving immigrant, I can help you to realize your goals and to navigate the incredibly complex maze of U.S. immigration laws.
